Nels was a cook - so he was out cooking a lot in the woods in winter and on Saw Mills in summer. Dad started up a shoe fixing shop in Arland. So him and ma settled there till they pased away about 10 years later. They were happy too. Carl Christ & Uncle Paul left for Canada & Nels went later.
