The purpose of this genealogy website is to share the results of my research into my ancestry and my close and distant cousins with anyone interested. To avoid propagating errors and to keep the quality of each entry high I try to only include material that I've adapted specially for the site and that I feel (relatively) confident is accurate.
Apart from the «quickstart»-links above there are two ways into this site, the surname index and the charts. From the surname index or any chart you can click your way to a specific person's entry. I plan to write an explanation for some of the elements in a person entry in the near future, but hopefully you will find your way around without one.
The person entries are collected on person pages (50 people per page) and are sorted by birthdate. In addition to entries for individuals human beings there are entries for census households. These all have «surnames» that start with the census year, and therefore are sorted to the start of the surname list. They also have a pseudo birthday late in the third millennium, and are therefore sorted to the end of the person pages.
If you have any comments or requests there is an email link at the bottom of each page. I hope to add more people, more information on specific people, and more information about the site and genealogy in general in the near future, so check back soon. You can see what's recently added or altered by clicking on the «recent updates»-link below.
Oh, and here's a short text on my frustration with dealing with the names used on this site.
